Building on a Financial Times piece about what's lost when AI makes things too easy, the author asks how organizational and societal incentives will channel the saved time and new capabilities responsibly.
His thesis: the outcome depends on whether market selection rewards organizations that encourage workers to use AI to learn and create, or whether we slide into a mindless race to pump out more output.
