Figure unveiled Helix 2.5, a humanoid robot model that can tidy up homes it has never seen, with zero-shot success jumping from 9% to 56% — a major leap in generalizing to unseen household scenes. The roundup also noted Google DeepMind creating a new institute, led by Demis Hassabis and Shane Legg, to broaden the public debate on AGI.
