XPENG is testing its IRON humanoid robot as a car showroom sales assistant. A real-world interaction demo highlights four capabilities: autonomous orientation, dynamic identity memory for tracking each customer's needs, seamless multilingual switching, and multi-intelligence Q&A. The robot follows people it talks to in real time, walks and turns naturally rather than pacing, and can handle multiple customers' buying questions simultaneously — with sales capacity expected to grow exponentially over long-term service.
