- A breakout novel of France's fall literary season has won the Prix Fnac, Prix Méduse and Prix Première Plume, is shortlisted for the Renaudot and in the running for the Goncourt, Femina and Médicis — and is being translated into 20 languages.
- Pangram, an AI-detection tool, sampled passages across the manuscript and found nearly all of them to be 100% AI-generated.
