A motion designer quoted $1,000 — he built the same Meta ad with AI video tool Pexo

The author needed a 15-second Meta ad for his newsletter and was quoted $1,000 by a motion designer, so he instead ran the full production through the AI video tool Pexo:
- Give context: he provided his website, logo, newsletter screenshots and mascot, plus a brief covering audience, core message, brand colors and what should happen every second — "AI needs direction. It cannot read your mind."
- Tell a story, not request animation: the brief was framed as a narrative (too much AI news → product filters the noise → 5-minute read → subscribe CTA).
- Scene-by-scene generation: Pexo split the idea into five scenes (noise, brand reveal, newsletter sections, inbox delivery, final CTA), making individual review and fixes easier.
- Iterate with feedback: he flagged issues like a busy opening, too-small newsletter text and a CTA that vanished too quickly, and used the Mark to Fix feature to highlight the exact problem area instead of rewriting a long prompt.
- Final output: Pexo assembled the scenes into a finished video with visuals, animated text, graphic treatments, music and sound effects, with revisions continuing in the same conversation.
