A film made entirely in code: 51 seconds from hydrogen atom to the universe

Fable's short film 'Magnitude' contains not a single generated image — everything, including the music, is code. Built with just JavaScript and Canvas 2D: 38 rings, each 10x larger than the last, spanning 10⁻¹⁰ m to 10²⁷ m from a hydrogen atom to the edge of the observable universe and back. Each world becomes 100,000 engraved hatch marks rendered straight to video, anchored at Omo Kibish, Ethiopia, site of East Africa's oldest Homo sapiens fossils. The original piano score is also written in code, played via a sampled Steinway, landing on its home note only at the galaxy.
