Responding to Sen. Warren's claim that AI rules should be set by elected officials rather than a handful of AI billionaires, developer AlexTensor questions the push for new regulation: existing taxpayer-funded standards — the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF 2.0) and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0) — were never operationalized by AI labs in the first place.
