Dev open-sources Jev-powered search CLI to cut token burn from LLM web research

Engineer dorkitude open-sourced a search CLI built on TypeSafe's Jev, with the core idea of making web search more context-efficient.
The trigger: he burned through his Codex and Claude tokens (including a backup account) in one week. A context audit showed web research — reading raw academic papers and having expensive models parse raw search results — was the biggest culprit. He used Jev's typed probabilistic decisions instead of LLM parsing for web results, and it doubles as a search CLI for his Pi/Kimi workflows. The tool is open source.
