The Information surveyed 107 senior leaders/professionals on enterprise AI adoption:
- 60% of companies report higher productivity, yet 60% also report unpredictable AI costs — AI creates value even as it's economically hard to model.
- 52% say they understand token costs, but only about 1/3 actually control them.
Overall: AI is delivering value broadly, but cost management and budgeting lag well behind.
