AMD closed at a record $615.52, pushing its market cap past $1 trillion and making it the fourth US chip company to reach the milestone after Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron. Lisa Su took over in 2014 when the stock traded under $2; Intel ($644B) is now worth less than AMD.
