vackrooms: an open-source endless backrooms game built entirely with Claude
pablostanley · reddit · 2026-09-22
Developer pablostanley released vackrooms, a free, open-source endless backrooms game that runs in the browser, built with Three.js and the vgpu WebGPU shader library.
- Every visit generates a new maze: poolrooms, food courts, a street, and computers that load real websites over dial-up — plus something that follows you
- The author says Claude knows Three.js deeply, and vgpu's docs are written for agents, letting Claude write and validate WGSL shaders without babysitting
- Play: https://vackrooms.vercel.app; Code: https://github.com/pablostanley/vackrooms
