Indie hacker lxfater shares a low-cost way to validate startup ideas: shoot the promo video with AI before building the product. Wanting a pair of Vibe Coding glasses that doesn't exist, he used the AI video tool Pexo to turn his vision into a virtual product trailer.
The workflow:
- Chat with Pexo to describe the idea and desired shots
- Circle parts of the frame you dislike and leave annotations on how to change them, then iterate
- No After Effects or CapCut skills needed
- The finished video can be shown to potential users for feedback
