Meituan launched CatPaw, a full-scenario enterprise AI agent platform for merchant operations and workflow automation, offering an out-of-the-box AI workspace plus enterprise-grade development and hosting tools across dining, beauty, and pet healthcare ecosystems. Internal deployment data shows it already serves over 90,000 Meituan employees and powers more than 30,000 active agents. It follows the weakly received consumer-facing Xiaomei, and reflects how Chinese local-services platforms embed automation into merchant backends to cut SME digitization costs and open revenue streams beyond commissions.
