Anthropic researcher Nathan Calvin reminds that the company's Frontier Safety Framework—the mechanism for binding commitments under SB 53 and other state AI laws—includes no requirements for internal deployment, questioning why the promised updates aren't made now. Mackenzie Arnold adds that companies already have ways to make commitments binding and should use them.
