Ethan Mollick uses Claude to build an annotated multi-pathway guide to The Waste Land

Ethan Mollick showcased a website he built with Claude (Fable 5.1): an annotated guide to T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land at the-waste-land.netlify.app, and he is quite impressed.
The site presents the full 1922 text with Eliot's notes and offers nine reading lenses (sources, notes, voices, languages, water imagery, places, etc.), tools like line-by-line reading and tarot cards, plus thirteen thematic pathways and a 28-stop guided first reading. Mollick frames it as proof that AI is a wonderful tool for exploring topics far from coding.
