OpenAI Forms Independent Advisory Group of Mathematicians to Guide AI Math Advances

OpenAI announced it is working with an independent advisory group of mathematicians to advise on how it assesses and communicates new mathematical results, upholds academic and professional standards, and builds tools supporting mathematical research and learning. The company says it wants mathematicians at the center of shaping how AI benefits the math community. Retweeter danintheory confirmed he will work directly with members of the group.
