Google opens preorders for Googlebook, an Android-based laptop built for Gemini

Google announced that Googlebook is available for preorder today. Built on the Android technology stack and paired with desktop foundations from ChromeOS, it works with your phone out of the box and is explicitly positioned as a device designed for Gemini Intelligence — another step in Google embedding Gemini across its consumer hardware lineup.
