Amazon blocks Meta's Muse AI agent over unauthorized agentic shopping

GeekWire reports Amazon has blocked Meta's Muse personal assistant from shopping on its platform. Amazon says Meta never agreed access with it, the agent doesn't identify itself while browsing, and appears to capture and store customer credentials, creating privacy and security risks. Users now see a popup citing Amazon's Conditions of Use. The personal agent boom started earlier this year with OpenClaw; Meta's rollout is shifting the landscape fast — and Amazon will likely launch its own agent. The open question: do users understand the privacy risks of black-box personal agents?
