Apple's John Ternus defends Vision Pro: it's the early days of a long journey
asymco · x · 2026-09-22
Apple hardware chief John Ternus, in a Clique TV interview, called Vision Pro "an absolutely amazing device" akin to the early days of computers — the start of a long journey. He cited surgeons already using it in surgery as a fundamentally better tool than a monitor, and film production teams using it for set development, saying Apple will keep growing compelling use cases. Asymco's Horace Dediu frames it as an anomaly worth watching.
