Former Intel AI chief Naveen Rao, now at unconvAI, argued at the All-In Summit that AI is extremely inefficient — the brain runs on 20 watts while data centers need a city's power — that AI is about to run out of electricity, and that doomers have the energy story backwards. His fix: abstraction layers are the problem, and every computer since 1945 is built wrong; he proposes a new kind of machine based on dynamical systems.
