Per a relayed claim, OpenAI announced that its unnamed internal model tied to the Navier-Stokes episode has resolved more than 100 long-standing open problems across most areas of mathematics.
Separately, Scott Aaronson writes on his blog that he has heard rumors AI companies have reached solutions to some very long-standing open problems in theoretical computer science, and are now sitting on multiple major announcements as a result of the Navier-Stokes firestorm.
