Inference era shifts to 1-30MW micro datacenters as OpenAI and Anthropic chase distribution

sonnetxu argues scale defined the training era, but distribution will define the inference era: OpenAI, Anthropic, and inference startups are shifting toward 1-30MW "tiny" datacenters.
Inference breaks the bigger-is-cheaper infrastructure model for three reasons: latency pulls compute physically closer to users; small sites plug into existing grid power fast (not behind-the-meter); and permitting favors speed-to-deploy.
