Responding to Claude CLI's feedback prompt authorizes conversation capture
mmaunder · hn · 2026-09-21
An HN user dug into Anthropic's consumer terms and found that responding to Claude CLI's recurring feedback prompt counts as Feedback, which authorizes conversation capture and training use even if you've opted out of training. Safety-flagged content is also exempt from opt-out. Advice: dismiss the prompt instead of engaging if you don't want long transcripts used.
