Robotics researcher YuXiang (IRVL) reports that running GPT-6 Astra on a single LIBERO task ('turn on the stove + put the moka pot on it') took 29 API calls costing $3.20 — and a LIBERO experiment needs 100 episodes, making the model unaffordable for academic research. He tagged OpenAI directly.
