MotherDuck launches prompt_jev(): AI text classification in SQL at 50x speed, 1% cost

MotherDuck launched promptjev(), bringing Jev, a new AI model from Typesafe AI, into MotherDuck SQL for text classification. In their tests it ran at 50x the speed and 1% the cost of comparable frontier models, with similar or better accuracy.
This unlocks scoring and labeling workflows that were previously too slow or costly: classify all your data, rerun when labels change, or filter on meaning in a WHERE clause during exploratory analysis. Live now in MotherDuck.
