Nous ships official plugin to run Hermes Agent on Claude Pro/Max subscriptions, no API key

Nous Research released claude-subscription-directsdk, an official experimental plugin that drives the unmodified official Claude Code CLI as a request-scoped model client, so Hermes Agent runs on a Claude Pro/Max subscription without a separate API key or per-token billing.
Key points:
- Speaks native stream- directly, no Python Agent SDK dependency; Hermes keeps its normal agent loop, tools, approvals and compaction
- Requires Hermes Agent 0.21.4+ and a logged-in claude CLI; fails cleanly with an install hint if missing
- Cancellation kills the whole process tree, verified in CI on Linux, macOS and Windows
Install with hermes plugins install claude-subscription-directsdk.
