Developer generativist complains that LLM-generated TikZ images have badly regressed. His itikz IPython package was his baby during his dissertation, producing beautiful figures — now models output 'pelicans and bikes and shit.' Replying to @finbarrtimbers on how fast LaTeX note-taking used to be an edge, he quips that he no longer needs to know LaTeX at all.
