The team had experimented with ComfyUI generative workflows, Python procedural animation, and MCP-driven motion design in Cavalry and After Effects, but found generative tools fundamentally limited by lack of control — changing one thing disturbs everything — and not built for professional pipelines; general models from around Opus 4.5 started changing that. In a quoted reply, a VFX artist with 14 years of experience (The Men Who Built America) notes masking and tracking — the most tedious tasks — have been greatly streamlined, though the underlying principles remain the same.
