A post catalogued the many well-meaning attempts to rename AI since 1956 — Augmented Intelligence, Ambient Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Neural Intelligence, Intelligence Augmentation — predicting new attempts will meet the same fate. LeCun replied with a quip: "You forgot machine intelligence." A small slice of AI naming-history trivia and industry culture.
