Bittensor gets second robotics subnet as Nepher runs sim-to-real tournaments

Nepher Robotics (SN49) is now the second robotics subnet on Bittensor's $TAO network, built on NVIDIA Omniverse and shipping since January. Its answer to the sim-to-real gap — policies that look perfect in simulation but fail on real hardware — is tournaments: define the task, randomize environments, and let miners compete to train surviving policies.
Completed challenges include Leatherback LiDAR Real Maze Navigation Phase 2 (337 submissions, 97 participants; Ackermann-drive robot navigating real mazes with LiDAR only), Franka Pick and Place Phase 3 (87 submissions, 20 participants), and Spot Navigation Challenge Phase 3.
