Zhejiang U & SJTU unveil DAS, an agent that writes publication-ready surveys in an hour

Zhejiang University's APRIL Lab and Shanghai Jiao Tong University present DAS (Deep Academic Survey), an agentic system that goes beyond the usual retrieve-analyze-write pipeline. Using a traceable, correctable Stateful Agentic Closed Loop, it handles taxonomy construction, section assignment, claim-citation grounding, and manuscript reliability — producing structured academic surveys with figures, tables, and a reliable PDF in about an hour. The team also releases the DAS-2M dataset for training and evaluation, benchmarking on 30 survey topics from DAS-Bench.
