The author tested a Civitai 360-image workflow with Qwen 2.1 after finding community reception underwhelming. Asking it to make the center subject smile on a Krea2 image, they were surprised:
- Near-zero color drift, unlike Klein 9B's drift and mutations
- A 7040x3520 output in 5 minutes with impressive background-people upscaling
- Clothing and environment details improved, approaching SeedVR2-level upscaling
- The 360 environment generation also held up well
They note they hadn't seen Qwen 2.1 discussed as an upscaler before sharing this.
