Unitree's Dex5-3 dexterous hand packs 22 motorized joints and backdrivability for $6,500

Unitree launched the Dex5-S dexterous hand with 22 motorized joints, giving software direct control over more finger movement plus a new pinky roll axis for changing grasp geometry. Price: $6,500.
Every joint is backdrivable—fingers can be pushed and the motors give way instead of locking—making the hand safer around people and better for teleoperation. Peak load is 2kg with 1kg continuous, and each joint has impact-torque protection to shield its gears from strikes and overloads.
