Shutdown startup Eidon AI open-sources 1,274 hours of egocentric robotics data

Eidon AI, now wound down, has released its entire corpus under CC-BY-4.0 on Hugging Face: 13,451 egocentric videos (9.05 TB) of humans doing everyday household tasks, captured with a head-mounted camera plus a seven-point IMU harness, plus 779M rows of 24 Hz motion data (9.5 GB) and another 1.55 TB of video-only clips. Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue hailed the move: "Open source has a superpower: work can outlive the organization that created it."
