Wei Xu (Georgia Tech), David Adelani (Mila/McGill), Vinodkumar Prabhakaran (Google), Sara Hooker, and Alan Ritter will give a tutorial on Multilingual & Multicultural LLMs at EMNLP 2026 in Budapest on October 28, 2026.
Focusing on 2025–2026 advances, the tutorial covers multilingual pre-/mid-/post-training, multilingual reinforcement learning, reasoning across languages, culturally aware evaluation, multimodal and multicultural LLMs, and lessons from building frontier multilingual models.
