Google indexes your trycloudflare tunnel URLs — here's a safer setup
iannuttall · x · 2026-09-21
The author runs coding agents on a Mac Mini and relies on Cloudflare tunnels for localhost access, only to find trycloudflare URLs indexed by Google. Rather than adding noindex tags (easy to forget, risky for production SEO), he set up a preview subdomain: enable Cloudflare Zero Trust free plan, create a named tunnel, and route preview traffic through a dedicated subdomain.
