$200/month OpenAI user cancels after reset token expired 30 minutes before the listed date ended

A Reddit user says his OpenAI reset token expired at 6:30pm on the listed expiration date (9/20) with no time shown, so he missed it by 30 minutes after burning most of his weekly Codex usage. Support replied with a canned message saying the exact expiry depends on the user's timezone and the token should have been used the previous day.
Frustrated by the hidden expiration time and lack of explanation for a $200/month subscription, he cancelled and advises others to use date-only tokens a day early.
