PR #29435 in google-gemini/gemini-cli fixes session-exit hangs: drainStdin() now pauses and unrefs stdin, MCP transports get safe close with timeout races and SIGKILL escalation, gracefulShutdown() gains watchdog timers, and a second Ctrl+C force-exits with code 130. 137 vitest cases pass.
