Aletheia's Quest competition crowns winners: 478 entries from 19 teams vied for $50k to build LLM lie detectors

Northeastern University's NDIF team, together with Cadenza Labs and backed by Schmidt Sciences and AWS, ran the Aletheia's Quest competition this summer challenging AI researchers to build generalizable LLM lie detectors, with $50k in prizes.
The competition drew 478 submissions from 19 teams, and the final winners have now been announced. The author credits the NDIF engineering team for handling the flood of entries near the deadline.
