Dev urges PAW to just say it's a LoRA compiler for sub-1B models instead of hiding the mechanism

Developer willcb posted concrete positioning feedback for PAW: the tech is genuinely cool, but the copy buries the core mechanism — he had to dig just to confirm it does LoRA search/compilation.
He offers a rewritten pitch: PAW synthesizes examples to compile a LoRA for <1B models that run on your laptop and beat much larger models at structured tasks; one-time compilation runs on GPU (bring your own DGX Spark or 4090, MLX support coming), or use hosted access with community sharing.
His takeaway: marketing is hard — decide who your target user is, what tools they use, whether they care about API simplicity, and whether they need to understand how PAW works. If your users know what a LoRA is, just say so.
