Chinese T800 humanoid patrols Shenzhen streets with SWAT, priced from $25,000

A Chinese company named its humanoid robot the T800 after the Terminator and deployed it on patrol alongside armed police in Shenzhen. The robot stands 1.73m, weighs 75kg, runs at 3 m/s, and its joints deliver 450 Nm of torque — enough for spinning kicks and flips.
When netizens claimed the kick videos were CGI, the CEO strapped on padding and let the robot kick him on camera, going flat on the ground while the robot stayed standing. Months later the company launched a full-contact robot fighting league with all-T800 fighters.
Its new Shenzhen factory claims one unit every 15 minutes; pricing in China starts at 180,000 yuan ($25,000). It carries no weapons and doesn't make arrests.
