Startup humansand unveiled Persimmon, an 'AI for humans' model designed to mimic human social dynamics: rather than dumping everything it knows upfront, it reveals information gradually as trust builds. The team introduced the Trickle Test — replaying a set of facts across successive conversation turns to check whether the model shares them at a human-like rate — alongside goals of capturing behavioral diversity and maintaining a coherent personality.
