Jensen Huang said the data-center industry failed to engage communities early enough. He pushed back on water-consumption concerns, claiming newer data centers no longer rely on evaporative cooling — they recycle cooling water and use less water annually than an evaporating swimming pool. Operators can also add on-site power generation to ease grid pressure, he noted.
