ZuckOff App Spots Meta Smart Glasses as Meta Preps Camera-Free Version

The ZuckOff app, which detects Meta smart glasses via Bluetooth signatures and estimates distance, has gained 5,000 users in a month and hit #61 among iPhone utility apps. Developer Pawel Szydlowski says EU regulators have contacted him.
Related: Meta disabled thousands of glasses tampered to hide the recording light, and per The Information, is preparing a camera-free pair (keeping six mics and a side button for the chatbot) amid "perv glasses" criticism.
