China's CXMT starts mass-producing 11.95nm DRAM, 50% more dies per wafer

Reuters reports CXMT, China's leading DRAM maker, has begun mass production of its fifth-generation memory platform with 11.95nm feature spacing and at least 50% more dies per wafer. Its new 24Gb LPDDR5X chips store 50% more data than the prior generation. This is mobile memory rather than AI-grade HBM, but marks notable domestic progress despite years of export restrictions.
