CXMT's G5 DRAM platform enters mass production with 11.95nm array half-pitch

ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) announced at the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention that its fifth-generation DRAM platform, G5, has entered mass production:
- Products: two LPDDR5X chips with 24Gb capacity — 50% higher than the previous generation — in 496-ball and 245-ball packaging, targeting mid-to-high-end smartphones and portable consumer electronics.
- Process: SAQP quadruple patterning achieves an 11.95nm active-area half-pitch, closing in on the world's most advanced volume-production memory; 45:1 capacitor aspect ratio and DRAM-optimized HKMG process cut core cell array height to 6,762nm.
- R&D: a digital-twin system covering the full product lifecycle helps shorten development cycles.
