Fal promised H3 Max open weights weeks ago — still nothing, community asks if it's worth trusting

Last month Fal released H3 Max, a fine-tune of MiniMax's open-source H3 model promising faster speeds. But after Hao Labs released weights for their own fast model (FastH3), Fal had a public meltdown on Twitter, calling FastH3 a 'random pixel generator.' Following backlash, Fal promised to release its own weights within a couple of weeks — nearly a month later, nothing has shipped. The poster asks: with so many Turbo LoRAs and fast fine-tunes now available, should the community still care about, or trust, a company that bashes open-source projects and breaks its promises?
