Agent Substrate open-sources an environment abstraction with an MCP server

rakyll announced agent-substrate/env, an open-source environment abstraction for Agent Substrate: isolated, stateful execution environments with remote command execution, filesystem ops, and built-in MCP tools (fs and shell) usable from any MCP-capable client without writing code. Each environment is a Substrate actor in an isolated container; Substrate handles snapshotting, scheduling, multiplexing idle environments onto a small worker pool, and routing. Currently an alpha API on GitHub.
