A researcher doing recent peer review says she's nostalgic for pre-ChatGPT undergrad-era studies: clearer arguments, more rigorous writing, and literature reviews that actually engaged with prior work rather than tacking a citation onto every sentence. AI can help with writing, but it can't substitute for thinking.
