Skills, Projects, and Workspace Agents don't replicate key properties: per-user private conversations, creator-controlled hidden instructions, and cross-org sharing with native OAuth/API-key Actions. Shared Projects expose chats, files and instructions to all members — a nonstarter for confidential use. The author calls shared GPTs a lightweight business-app platform for non-developers and a key reason companies adopted ChatGPT.
